Better ask us where they really put there to see if we learn
is true, students of the UNAM (yet) have (or had) to endure some of the nightmares that plague the sleep and wakefulness of students elsewhere. Things like, for example, university usurious loans in the United States, strung youth and parents to pay, for years, monthly payments of terror.
gringos No wonder they spend importing professionals from other countries.
On the other hand, in our warm and fertile country, any student, "proletarian" that is, he is forced to face polar snow to get to their classes, or to "balance" their meals with three sad vegetables.
And no, gentlemen asambleros squats and I'm not saying we live in clover, or that the dogs here are tied to the proverbial sausage. We could say, with some reason that gives me the experience-is that, here, life has not treated so badly to students.
And there's another consideration: The UNAM is a premier university. OK, we might be in place no-know-how in the world of not-know-who, but I do not have it: the guy who has the ability and the will out of these classrooms prepared in the discipline they wish, to stand alongside the best experts in here, there or yonder.
So where am I going with this? It is very simple: that if we see it, in war, the best soldier is one who knows get the most out of what you have.
(And the sudden appearance of the military language in the text follows a very intentional reason: the "language" that supposedly "better understand" progressive community "college).
In other words, there is no better way to guarantee failure in any "campaign" to waste the resources you have. And I would argue that there is, throughout the world, a country and a university whose resources are very abundant in most stupidly squandered ours.
I'll put the best example I can think of what I say: the dining room and cafeteria vegetarian who keep the "auditorium" Che Guevara of our faculty.
There, the situation is this: for the price of a little nutritious "comida corrida", or a cafesito, the university irresponsible "conscious" is not, of course, compensating UNAM water usage, electricity and other resources illegally monopolized by the "Kolectivo." And that is wasted. It gets worse: every dollar given to those guilty of plunder, is extending material support "life useless" facilities vital to the functioning of our faculty, a school responsible for much of the excellent reputation of the UNAM.
And what comes of this is the obvious, and fucked paradoxical conclusion that there are a number of university students who basically pays a criminal organization to 1) actvidades hinder academic institution, 2) hinder convivecia and 3) waste of public resources. And all under the indifferent gaze of the authorities.
Consider one example: regular, so-called "custodial examinations" that apply in the Biomedical Sciences graduate program, at the time, was heralded as the most advanced academic experiment the-UNAM, show the bad basic training of most students who, for unknown reasons, reach those levels of expertise. And despite the evidence, no authority has arranged to restructure the curriculum and quality control mechanisms in the field of medical sciences, in order to justify the school budget exercise.
In a nutshell, is why this sort of thing in this space, we continue to insist that the university community must acquire sufficient honesty to recognize that this country and this university have many resources, which belong to them has its undeniable advantages . And our biggest problem is that, until now, we are going to panzazo, when it is going, matter of knowing how to manage.
