Installing MySQL on Ubuntu 10.04 and Graphics Tools

Install MySql

   sudo apt-get install mysql-server   

Check if the installation was completed

   sudo netstat-tap    

Now let what I consider the best, is MySQL Query Browser is installed as follows:

$ sudo apt-get install mysql-query-browser
